Application deadline moved to 4 February!

The YBT 2022 competition closing date for applications has been extended to midnight, 4 February, 2022. Due to the current circumstances, we believe that not all eligible musicians received sufficient notification of upcoming competition, so we have extended our closing date to give everyone, born after Jan 1, 2001 a chance to submit their application. Primuz International String competition 2021 won by Vilmos Csikos

Vilmos Csikos wins the Primuz International String competition 2021 with his virtuosic performance of Paganini’s, Nel Cor Piu Non Mi Sento (Op. 38). With entrants from over 30 countries and competing against some extremely tough competition, Vilmos was selected as the outright winner for violin in the seniors competition (ie for violinists born before 1999).
